How to Make Wooden Golf Clubs
The first thing that workers do is cut a block of wood into a golf club shape. After that, they put it on a copy mill that cuts it to the desired shape. Then workers put lead and a metal scratch plate on the bottom of the club to protect it and give added weight. Next workers dip it in stain and then bruch on a clear coat of urathain. They then put the metal shaft into the end of the club and then take it out for a test run.
